浅谷公威　特任講師

配属を希望する学生へ

　専門は計算社会科学で、近年では1.サイエンスオブサイエンス(学術論文の解析) 、2. 都市データの解析、3. Twitter(X)上での意見形成に力を入れています。サイエンス・都市・Twitterともに複数の人間がインタラクトし知識や習慣が連続的/非連続的に進化するシステムです。これらの進化の軌跡はデータとして蓄積されており、当研究室では学術論文・都市の移動データやPOIの情報・Twitterの発言のデータを保有しています。データより進化/イノベーションが起こる過程を解明することで、科学者がクリエイティビティを発揮しやすい環境や仕組みの提案、多様な機会を享受できる都市の設計、人間が本来持っている正の側面が発揮されるようなSNSの設計につなることを目的としています。

　機械学習や自然言語処理の技術をツールとして使用することが多いですが、最新の理論を研究している研究者とも連携しています。データは正直ですので、それに深く付き合っていくことで柔軟性と継続性と謙虚さが養われると思っています。当研究室では多様なバックグラウンドの学生を受け入れています。配属された学生は坂田先生と森先生からもアドバイスをもらえます。研究室配属を希望の学生や共同研究を希望の方は、asatani@ipr-ctr.t.u-tokyo.ac.jpに連絡してください。また、工学系研究科技術経営戦略学専攻の「計算社会科学」の講義を担当していますので、興味があるかたは受講してください。

研究テーマ

Science of Science

　科学のと技術の発展はイノベーションの主要因であり、そのデータは論文として蓄積されています。そのデータの解析はイノベーションのプロセスの解明につながります。個人/共著者/研究グループや国といった単位で、クリエィティビティ/研究者のキャリア/インパクトなどを様々な視点からの研究が進んでいます。最近の成果としては、国ごとの研究トピックの進み/遅れの評価(Scientific Reports 2023)やSleeping Beauty現象のメタ評価(Journal of Informetrics 2023)などが代表的です。

Computational Social Science

　人間の行動や意見形成にはその人間同士のネットワーク構造が大きな役割を果たしており、その構造や情報拡散の過程を研究しています。最近の成果としては、電車の移動データから友人関係を抽出した研究(JCSS 2018)、Twitterにおける政治的エコーチャンバーの効率的な情報拡散構造の研究(Scientific Reports 2021)などがあります。

Technology Informatics

　2020年からはじまったテクノロジー・インフォマティクス社会連携講座で研究の主担当をつとめています。テクノロジーに関する膨大な情報（論文、特許などの技術文献やSNSに代表される社会情報）からインフォマティクス（機械学習、自然言語処理などの情報処理技術）を用いて、技術経営に関する課題解決に寄与する知見を抽出するテクノロジーインフォマティクス（技術経営情報工学）の技法群をテクノロジー・インフォマティクスと名付けました。大量の書誌情報からノーベル賞を予測する研究(IEEE Access 2021)、学術領域の発展の方向を定量化して予測する研究(Plos ONE 2018)、学術界のSDGsへの関心を抽出した研究(Energies 2020)などがあります。またNLPの分野でも単語の関係性の予測(EMNLP 2022 Findings)などの成果が出ています。
